What I stand for

All my work is grounded in a belief in the power of connection.

 

Over the course of two decades experience as a growth leader and coach I have learned that by building deep and true connections to ourselves, to our communities and to the context in which we operate, each and every one of us has the capacity to deliver meaningful impact in the world and find fulfilment and joy in the process.

Harnessing that power starts with building that connection to self. The conscious and deliberate act of deciding what you stand for - recognising what truly matters most to you, what you are committed to doing and how you are committed to being in your work and life - lays an essential foundation of self leadership and enables us to drive forward into the world with confidence and clarity.

My Coaching Style

I am a CoActive coach and my coaching style is grounded in the CoActive model. Recognising that people are naturally, creative, resourceful and whole, that they are not broken and do not need to be fixed - my role as a coach is to help them to recognize this truth and take charge of their personal development and professional performance.

 

Within that role, however, I do not stand as a neutral observer. I am an active, activist coach and channel my natural enthusiasm, curiosity and creativity to accelerate my clients’ progress. Alongside holding space and asking powerful questions, I offer perspective and, where appropriate and asked for, advice - born of my personal experience as a growth leader and as a flawed and imperfect human being on my own journey of learning and discovery. 

 

I draw from a large and inclusive toolkit, using customised techniques and approaches drawn from my work as an innovation practitioner and cultural transformation consultant at ?What If! as well as those purpose-made for leadership coaching. Alongside my CoActive training I am also an accredited Strengthscope, Team Strengths and Let’s Go facilitator.
